What the job involves
- As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Elastic, you'll play a key role in driving our continued growth by engaging prospective customers, understanding their business challenges, and creating high-quality opportunities that fuel our sales pipeline
- Working closely with Account Executives and Marketing, you'll identify the right prospects, spark meaningful conversations, and help organizations discover how Elastic's platform can solve their most critical business challenges
- Partner for Success: Collaborate closely with your Account Executives and Marketing to identify target accounts, execute strategic campaigns, and generate high-quality pipeline across your territory
- Create Meaningful Conversations: Engage inbound and outbound prospects through a thoughtful multi-channel approach. Ask great questions, uncover business challenges, and qualify opportunities that create value for both the customer and our sales teams
- Leverage Technology: Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Demandbase, Sumble, AI-powered tools, and other sales technologies to research accounts, identify key decision-makers, personalize your outreach, and maximize your effectiveness
- Become an Elastic Expert: Develop a strong understanding of the Elastic platform, our AI-powered solutions, and the industries we serve so you can confidently articulate business value and connect customer challenges with the right solutions
- Learn, Grow, and Own Your Development: Take ownership of your growth by embracing coaching, continuous feedback, and ongoing enablement. You'll work alongside experienced colleagues who are invested in helping you build a successful long-term career at Elastic
