Who you are
- A solid track record in performance marketing across all acquisition channels and a passion for optimising conversion rates in fast-paced environments
- You hold an MSc degree and have 5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a B2C scale-up
- You take pride in your analytical skills, and others might describe you as highly focused on improving growth metrics
- You have expert knowledge of tools like Appsflyer, Google Tag Manager, Google Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, Looker, and Supermetrics
- A proactive mindset: you take initiative, experiment with strategies, and see projects through from insight to execution
- Our ideal candidate is a native Dutch speaker with excellent English skills. Proficiency in German or French is a plus
What the job involves
- As our Senior Performance Marketer, you’ll take ownership of our paid acquisition channels and play a pivotal role in scaling Peaks, driving growth, and will help expand Peaks in three new markets in 2025
- You’ll own the development and execution of a full-funnel acquisition and conversion strategy
- Your data-driven mindset defines how you work, think, and deliver results
- You manage a Paid Social Specialist and together with CRM, Content, and Product teams, you’ll continuously optimise funnels, drive high-value user acquisition, and achieve key business goals
- Acquisition & conversion strategy: Develop and execute a full-funnel marketing strategy, to optimize funnels and drive high-value user acquisition optimizing for KPIs such as CPA-payback-period, CPA (Cost per Acquisition), RPU (Revenue per User)
- Manage paid acquisition channels: Manage and execute campaigns across all acquisition channels, including Social Media, App Store Advertising, Search Advertising (SEA), Affiliate Marketing, Influencer Marketing and Native Advertising
- Always-On strategy & campaign leadership: Set up an effective always-on strategy, execute large full funnel campaigns, and scale audience specific and product-related campaigns
- Referral program: Take ownership of Peaks’ referral program, ensuring it becomes a key driver for acquisition and growth
- Optimisation: Scale successful creatives and campaigns and improve conversion rates by conducting A/B tests and implementing data-driven improvements
- Data-driven marketing: You’re an expert when it comes down to work with and to implement a data warehouse solution, setting-up a Marketing Dashboards, analysing & reporting to stakeholders
- You are familiar with using tools such as Appsflyer, Google Analytics, Looker, Supermetrics, Google Tag Manager and Google Marketing Cloud (like Spreadsheets) to measure and optimize results
- Reporting: You know how to translate raw data into actionable insights and setting up reporting structures
- You feel comfortable presenting to internal stakeholders and give weekly company wide updates on acquisition and growth metrics
Our take
The retail investor market is growing, thanks to investment apps like Robinhood and E*TRADE democratising access to the markets and empowering non-professionals to make their money work. It’s stimulated the fintech startup scene globally, too, and whilst many are chasing the hands-on retail investors, a niche has opened up for ‘small change’ investment apps for the hands-off customer. Peaks is one of these, allowing users to round up card payments and automatically invest it.
These apps are great for early-stage, short term investors, even though they will tend to work out more costly in the long run. As such, they tend to be directed at young Gen X and the emerging Gen Z markets - and here’s where Peaks has smartly distinguished itself from competitors like Stash and Acorn. Peaks is a values-driven app which only permits investments in sustainable ETFs. This is likely to play well with the younger generations, who expressly seek out brands and companies with the kind of eco-friendly ethos that aligns with their beliefs.
