Role
Who you are
- We're looking for a Dublin-based Environment Workplace Coordinator who shares our vision, and is excited to help create a warm and welcoming experience for employees and guests
- The right candidate will report to our International Workplace Manager, loves to create delightful experiences for employees, possesses a "no-job-is-too-small" attitude and brings a creative spark
- 2+ years of workplace or event management experience
- Creative mindset with an innovative approach, always seeking fresh ideas to surprise and delight employees
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and proven ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Flexibility to adapt and switch between various responsibilities
- Organized and detail-oriented: Strong attention to detail, able to stay calm under pressure, a quick thinker, create order of out chaos
- Effective communicator: Ability to communicate the priorities of leadership within Notion, whether it is by written, verbal, or group communication
- Event experience: Experience organizing team events with hundreds of people, as well as multi-day events with smaller groups of people, such as an executive offsite
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and seamlessly transition between different responsibilities
- Discreet: Demonstrated ability to maintain complete confidentiality on all business matters

What the job involves
- Office Experience: Create a welcoming, friendly, and professional office environment, ensuring the office feels like home for employees and guests
- Office Management: Oversee day-to-day operations in the office, including deliveries, space planning, decor, stock and waste management, mailroom, and office supplies
- Proactive Problem Solver: Identify potential issues before they arise and implement effective solutions to maintain a seamless office environment
- Global Alignment: Collaborate with the global environment team to maintain a consistent Notion feel and culture across our global offices
- Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with external vendors, including cleaning services, maintenance contractors, and food/beverage providers
- Culture Builder: Craft fun & engaging team offsite experiences, celebrate birthdays and anniversaries, new family members, and promotions to ensure employees continue to feel connected and recognised
- Safety & Security: Partner with security team to ensure workplace safety and compliance, assessing risks and make informed decisions regarding employee health and safety
- Onboarding: Coordinate and help facilitate company onboarding for EMEA to ensure new hires get off to a great start at Notion
- Event Management: Organise world-class events, including office celebrations, cultural traditions, affinity group initiatives

Managing busy workflows using fragmented systems can be a headache for both individuals and businesses. Notion aims to combat this problem by enabling users to work from one central hub, customizing their workflows to suit their exact needs. This includes managing files, scheduling tasks, saving documents, writing to-do-lists, and setting reminders.
The company counts enterprise companies such as McDonald’s, The Wall Street Journal, Verizon, Samsung, and IBM as its customers. In spite of economic uncertainty, Notion reached a $2B valuation in 2020, helped by record signups as more people were forced to work from home. Its value has since risen to over 5 times this value, an impressive reflection of its success.
The company has also made a number of strategic acquisitions that, coupled with its enormous market value and enviable customer list, have Notion well-placed to continue dominating the market. However, with a growing wave of competitors emerging, including offerings like Microsoft Loop, Notion will need to keep innovating and evolving to maintain its edge and stay ahead in an increasingly crowded market.
