Who you are

6+ months proven experience in a customer-facing role, such as sales development, Sales Development, or account executive
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Familiarity with Pocus, Salesforce, Chilipiper, Outreach, Zoominfo, and Linkedin Sales Navigator, Drift, Qualified, Intercom
Knowledge of visual collaboration software or related technologies is a plus

What the job involves

We are seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR)
As an SDR at Mural, your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with Account Executives (AE), Account Managers (AMs), and Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to drive growth opportunities for Mural
Needs Identification: Be the first point of contact for customers coming to Mural for the first time. You’ll be tasked with engaging them either via a call, email, or chat to understand how we can best support them. You’ll also be responsible for making sure they are introduced to the correct people within our team
Source Discovery Meetings: Proactively reach out to customers via chat, email, and phone that have engaged with us. Effectively communicate with prospective customers to generate interest and secure appointments
Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, activities, and meeting outcomes in Salesforce

Functioning more like a team- or business-wide whiteboard than a chat room, it is part of a developing trend away from single-channel platforms like Slack and towards a more integrated collaborative workspace.
