- Experience: You have 1+ years of experience as an account manager in a seat-based SAAS organization and 3-5 years of experience selling SAAS

What the job involves
- The primary goal of the Account Manager (AM) is to drive revenue growth in our contracted Superhuman customers
- You’ll be responsible for planning, testing new strategies and forecasting accurately in your book of business
- You’ll build strong relationships with Superhuman customers, identify new use cases, deeply understand customer motivations and create tangible value in your accounts
- Own the relationships a book of business of 100+ mid-market accounts
- Create a comprehensive and strategic account plan for each fiscal quarter
- Forecast your monthly, quarterly, and annual sales attainment accurately
- Exceed sales quota
- Help customers achieve their strategic goals by:
- Uncovering customer pain points
- Mapping custom solutions to alleviate their pains
- Teaching industry insights & email productivity best practices
- Communicating ROI
- Multithreading across the key influencers and decision-makers
- Closing annual and multi-year deals
- Partner closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to:
- Conduct consistent value reviews with customers
- Identify potential areas of expansion in key accounts
- Get Superhuman in the hands of key personas at target accounts
- Drive activation and engagement
- Develop deep customer insights and competitive knowledge to ensure Superhuman provides remarkable quality and creates delight during every step of the customer journey
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Superhuman product and the productivity industry to drive customer engagement and meet your customer’s business objectives; keep a pulse on customer trends and act as the voice of the customer to inform our product and marketing teams
- Nurture customer decision-maker relationships and become a trusted advisor
- Be intellectually curious, creative, collaborative, team-oriented, honest, and seek to improve by 1%+ every day with a growth mindset
Our take
Most of us spend our workday jumping between emails, documents, meetings, and endless browser tabs. The problem isn't just the amount of work but the constant switching between tools that breaks focus and wastes time. Instead of getting things done, we're searching for information, rewriting messages, and trying to remember what happened in yesterday's meeting. And now, as AI becomes more common, it brings with it a new issue: every app has its own assistant, but they rarely work together.
That's the problem Superhuman wants to solve. Rather than being just another AI chatbot, it's building an AI-powered productivity platform that connects the tools people already use. Its new assistant, Superhuman Go, works across more than 100 apps to draft emails, surface meeting notes, pull information from different tools, and suggest what to do next. Simply, it helps users spend less time managing software and more time doing meaningful work.
The company's recent evolution reflects this ambition too. After Grammarly acquired Superhuman Mail and Coda, it rebranded the combined business as Superhuman, bringing email, documents, and AI assistance into one platforms. Rather than focusing only on writing, the company aims to become the AI layer that connects modern work. If it can successfully unite these products and grow its ecosystem of AI agents, then it very well could become a central hub for workplace productivity.
