Who you are
- Strong track record of taking products from discovery to launch, delivering measurable impact through successful features or products - in a fast-moving startup environment
- Skilled at aligning stakeholders, driving clear priorities, and building consensus to accelerate delivery
- Experience with end-to-end ownership of roadmaps and measurable outcomes
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)
- Experience building or prototyping AI-powered products - you tinker, experiment, and show how things can be built
- A deep curiosity and fast-learning mindset - you thrive on quickly understanding new domains, connecting the dots, and translating insights into product decisions
- Comfort operating in regulated industries
- Bonus: Experience operating in (German) healthcare
What the job involves
- We’re looking for our first Head of Product to take full ownership of our product and help drive us through the next stage of growth
- This is a pivotal role: you’ll bridge discovery and execution, transform bold ideas into reality, and deliver products that directly impact patients, healthcare providers, and payors
- You’ll work hand-in-hand with our CEO as a sparring partner on strategy and prioritization, and collaborate with our engineers, designers, and data scientists to build products that truly matter
- Own the product lifecycle end-to-end: from shaping strategy and discovery to delivering at high quality and speed
- Extend our product offering beyond the existing DiGA user base, developing new solutions for healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders
- Drive execution, take complex products from concept to launch and scale, shipping on time and at high quality
- Define and track success metrics, ensuring every decision connects back to clinical, user, and commercial impact
- Leverage data and AI as core differentiators in the evolution of our product
- Act as a thought partner to the CEO, contributing to product strategy and roadmap prioritization
- Navigate a regulated environment with confidence and turn complexity into clarity

The company has adopted its mission after its founder felt the food industry was treated as one of the most relevant industries for human health but as one of the most irrelevant industries to the climate. The food industry’s contribution to greenhouse emissions is huge, hence this mission is as urgent as ever.
FoodLabs also closed its new early-stage fund called Food Fund, which will help European innovators create positive change. It also releases important reports such as "Food For Climate" in 2023, which explores the impact of FoodTech startups on the environment. There are countless other opportunities for FoodLabs to help improve food sustainability and the company will do so with its purpose-for-growth approach.
