What the job involves
- Perplexity is looking for a Quality Assurance Tester to join our small team revolutionizing the way people search and interact with the internet. Your passion and diligence will be critical to ensure a high quality product
- You will work closely with product management, design, and engineering
- Understand and analyze the existing product as well as new features
- Work with product management to set up proper QA testing processes
- Write clear, concise, and well-structured automated test scripts that cover a wide range of scenarios and edge cases
- Experience maintaining and debugging automated test scripts
- Detect bugs and UI issues on a variety of devices, browsers, and operating systems
- Detect performance problems by benchmarking against similar products
- Work with support to understand and reproduce common user issues
- Work with engineering to develop tools for automated testing
- Beta test new features and builds
