Who you are
- Proven track record of building and leading revenue-generating sales and partnership teams, particularly with independent agencies
- 10+ years of experience in sales, agency development, or partnerships, with a focus on performance marketing, programmatic advertising, or commerce media (retail media preferred)
- Demonstrated success in managing complex relationships, driving incremental revenue, and scaling partnership programs
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Adept at rolling up your sleeves and executing while maintaining a strategic perspective
- Deep knowledge of programmatic advertising, performance marketing, and commerce media ecosystems
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive actionable insights from data to inform decision-making
What the job involves
- We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of Agency Sales and Partnerships to lead and grow our efforts with independent agency partners
- In this pivotal role, you will manage a team Agency Partnerships Managers and Agency Sellers, focusing on driving revenue through strategic partnerships with Independent agencies
- This is an exciting opportunity to shape our agency sales strategy, build a high-performing team, and establish best-in-class partnerships from the ground up
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of Agency Partnership Managers and Agency Sellers
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture within the team
- Set clear goals and KPIs, providing regular coaching and feedback to ensure individual and team success
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to build and scale partnerships with independent agencies
- Establish strong, mutually beneficial relationships with agency partners to drive revenue growth and client success
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, fostering long-term partnerships
- Serve as a trusted advisor to agency stakeholders, providing strategic insights on performance marketing, programmatic advertising, and commerce media solutions
- Define and implement the vision, structure, and processes for the independent agency sales function
- Develop scalable frameworks and operational efficiencies to support agency growth
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, and analytics) to ensure alignment and delivery of agency-focused solutions
