Who you are
- The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing) that is enthusiastic and interested in a career in marketing
- Organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this role!
- 1 year of marketing experience is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing preferred)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Incredibly organized and strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects across departments
- Prioritize tasks based on deadlines and importance
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and also proactively work alone
- Experience with project management software required, Asana is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite required, Canva is a plus
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to keep the Marketing team organized while also being a point person for interdepartmental communications.
- The Marketing Coordinator should be willing to learn and be involved in various aspects of marketing and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Act as a project manager for the marketing team, assisting with execution and organization of all marketing projects
- Ensure timelines, deliverables, and goals stay on track
- Develop agendas, record notes, and assign action items for meetings
- Organize marketing assets and update files with new materials regularly
- Help develop and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Collaborate on Powerpoint/Canva presentations
- Communicate with other departments to manage projects and updates
- Work with content team to submit asset requests and track deliverables
- Work with website team and utilize CMS to execute simple website changes
- Work with franchise team to complete marketing milestones for new store openings
- Share marketing initiatives and assets with franchisees and provide support for ongoing requests
- Share marketing initiatives and instructions for execution with store staff
- Other duties as assigned
Our take
Virtual Reality has existed for decades now, but even recent developments in the technology lack essential factors such as physical immersion and social interaction. Existing VR systems are dominated by sit-down single-player setups, and more immersive experiences are generally expensive and limited spatially.
Sandbox VR operates physical virtual reality spaces for customers to enjoy a multiplayer gaming experience within. The startup aims to produce a content ecosystem to compete with existing VR developers for legacy consoles, combatting the expensive technology costs by charging per usage within a fixed location.
Whilst VR is breaking into the mainstream video game console landscape, Sandbox VR stands out by providing an affordable opportunity to test technology that is too impractical and costly for home experiences. Furthermore, the unique approach to multi-player and physical-space-focused VR demonstrates the potential to maintain interest in an industry that consumers have high expectations of.
