- Bilingual - able to converse in fluent Spanish and English
- Experience working with Channel Partners in pre-sales engineering role
- Able to take responsibility for the problem statement and work collaboratively to resolve issues in a timely manner

What the job involves
- As a Partner Solutions Engineer for US and LATAM, you will assist the Partner Team in identifying, recruiting, and on-boarding new Partners
- In addition, you will act as an advocate for our Partners by providing feedback to our Product team and representing the needs of our customers
- You will develop relationships with partner SE's and their customers as needed, ensuring they are kept up-to-date with product features
- You will also be enabling them to demonstrate best sales practices
- You will also be responsible for the creation, handover, and ongoing maintenance of all Partner tools
- Acting as the solutions engineering partner to the Workvivo Partner Team
- Supporting the Partner Team in identifying, recruiting and on-boarding new Partners
- Acting as an advocate internally for our Partners, providing feedback to the Product Team and representing the roadmap needs of our joint customers
- Ensuring our Partners are kept up to date on and enabled around evolving product features and up to date positioning
- Owning the creation, handover and ongoing maintenance of all Partner tools (e.g. Demo environments, EVAL/POC environments)
- Helping them develop knowledge and demonstrate best practices in sales opportunities across Discovery, Demo Delivery, running Evaluations, Proof of Concepts and responding to RFI/RFP

Our take
Zoom reworked video conferencing when most people assumed it was a solved problem, with services from Cisco and Skype already ubiquitous in workplaces and homes. However, its videoconferencing infrastructure was simpler to use, faster and more flexible than any previous solution, and it swiftly took the world by storm.
Its success bred competition, however, and companies such as Microsoft and Google, along with numerous smaller communications firms, have begun making inroads on Zoom's formerly commanding lead. Additionally, as workplaces are mostly adopting a hybrid or flexible working strategy, some of its importance as a workplace tool is wearing off and it is recording a gradual decline in daily usage rates.
To counter these trends, Zoom is expanding its business offerings through product development and strategic aquisitions, such as that of Solvvy (an AI and automation service) in 2022. It remains to be seen if this will be enough to turn things around for Zoom: along with many other large tech companies it has recently engaged in large-scale layoffs to realign itself with a difficult economic situation. Still, it is a profitable company and a household name, and its track record of innovation means it is still very much one to watch in the communications space.
