Role
Who you are
- Senior or lead level experience in the Data Science field or in related technical roles, with experience in a senior leadership role
- Expert proficiency in Python, with experience in other programming languages highly valued
- PhD in Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Related Field, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in planning, developing, and implementing complex data pipelines
- Deep knowledge and practical implementation of advanced AI technologies, including Langchain, Vector Stores, etc
- Exceptional analytic skills with the ability to work with complex datasets and derive insights
- Extensive experience with various cloud platforms, with a deep understanding of AWS, and good knowledge of Azure and GCP
- Expertise in using version control and collaboration tools, such as Github, Bitbucket, and Gitlab
- Outstanding leadership skills with a proven ability to manage large teams and complex projects
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making skills
What the job involves
- Co-Pilot Development (AI Application Development leveraging LLMs)
- Co-Pilot Testing (Setting up tests to ensure we are receiving outputs that are in-line with expectations)
- Co-Pilot Design (Helping design the flow of those applications and ensuring the data journey makes sense)
- Co-Pilot Planning (Identify client pain points and help tailor app to fit client needs)
- Primary AI Leadership (1st in command when meeting with clients
- Helps identify how to solve client problems and acts as the main communication point if client needs assistance)
- Coordination and Director Relationships (In charge of efforts with organizing all AI-based solutions and projects. Also, direct line of communication with Director to ensure benchmarks are being hit)
- Provide leadership and technical direction to a large team of AI Engineers
- Collaborate with various internal and external teams to understand, define, and translate high-level business requirements into AI solutions
- Plan, design, and oversee the development of complex data pipelines
- Lead the design and development of sophisticated AI models and algorithms, including but not limited to Langchain, Vector Stores, etc
- Influence business decision-making through the strategic application of AI technology
- Drive the strategic direction and execution of large-scale AI projects and initiatives
- Oversee cloud management strategies and maintain a deep understanding of various services like AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Apply advanced analytic skills to work with highly complex datasets and generate insights
- Manage and enforce best practices for version control and collaboration tools, such as Github, Bitbucket, and Gitlab
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in AI and data science, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within the organization
