Who you are

Have a BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience and have 15+ years across data engineering, ML, and analytics
Leverage a deep expertise in subscription sales finance datasets
Possess exceptional engineering skills with proven ability to manage and analyze large, complex data
Demonstrate expertise in delivering cloud-based data solutions and expertise in data architecture, compliance, security, and governance
Offer expertise with tools like Snowflake, DBT, Python, Airflow, Kafka, Tableau, GraphDB, and Notebooks
Be an excellent communicator, able to lead independently and manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments

We’re looking for an experienced data leader to build and scale analytics solutions across corporate functions, including Finance, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance
This Director-level role requires expertise in subscription sales and marketing datasets, cloud-based data ecosystems, and leading high-performing teams
Reporting to the Global Head of Data & Analytics, you’ll thrive in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment, driving impactful, world-class solutions for internal stakeholders.
Zoom's Information Technology team is dedicated to delivering customer happiness, enhancing business efficiency, and fostering agility through innovation, data insights, and automation
Our impact is evident in seamless user experiences, streamlining processes, and supporting Zoom's growth in communication and collaboration
Leading and growing a team of data analysts, engineers, and scientists focused on corporate data and analytics
Partnering with stakeholders and product managers to translate requirements into scalable system designs
Engineering data solutions that deliver measurable business value in an agile environment
Presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, impactful manner
Drive performance management, team development, and set clear objectives and success metrics

Our take

Zoom reworked video conferencing when most people assumed it was a solved problem, with services from Cisco and Skype already ubiquitous in workplaces and homes. However, its videoconferencing infrastructure was simpler to use, faster and more flexible than any previous solution, and it swiftly took the world by storm.

Its success bred competition, however, and companies such as Microsoft and Google, along with numerous smaller communications firms, have begun making inroads on Zoom's formerly commanding lead. Additionally, as workplaces are mostly adopting a hybrid or flexible working strategy, some of its importance as a workplace tool is wearing off and it is recording a gradual decline in daily usage rates.

To counter these trends, Zoom is expanding its business offerings through product development and strategic acquisitions. Alongside many other large tech companies, it has battled through a difficult economic situation, but it nonetheless remains a profitable company and household name. Plus, its track record of innovation means it is still very much one to watch in the communications space.
