Who you are
- We are looking for a motivated Software Developer with 2+ years of experience and a strong foundation in programming and a desire to grow and learn within a collaborative team
- You're a strong communicator who can collaborate well with team members and stakeholders, adapting your approach as needed and learning to address technical matters effectively with support from senior engineers
- You're eager to adopt and learn the best engineering practices for developing, monitoring, and maintaining software
- With a curiosity for solving technical problems, you bring a willingness to tackle new challenges and expand your skill set
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- 1+ years of professional experience with React and/or React Native frameworks and a basic understanding of the Node.js ecosystem
- 1+ years of hands-on experience building mobile applications from ideation to publishing
- Experience with data visualization libraries and integrating charts/graphs into web and mobile applications
- Exposure to tools like Firebase, push notifications, and familiarity with basic SQL queries
- Comfortable using version control systems, such as Git and GitHub
- Curious, data-driven, and willing to ask questions to grow and learn
- Foundational knowledge of data structures and software design principles
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills

- We are looking for a Software Developer to focus on our Invoice Simple brand
- This role is on our Core team, which enables freelancers and contractors to invoice their customers easily and get paid on time. Our products help hundreds of thousands of small businesses save time, stay organized and look professional
- We work with Typescript, React-native and ReactJS-based frameworks. We have a deep understanding of the Android and iOS platforms. Our server-side components are implemented in Typescript, running on NodeJS, MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- We believe in releasing fast and continuous delivery. Supported by the team, every member is responsible for their own changes, from design through development and automated testing to deployment to production
- We're focused on continually improving our craft and each other. We engage directly on business issues and move quickly to make and keep our product the top invoicing app in the world. We’re helping entrepreneurs do what they love – and get paid
- You will support the design, implementation, and testing of software solutions, working closely with experienced developers who will provide guidance and mentorship
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to technical discussions, learning from senior developers to build your skills
- Work with engineering and product stakeholders to understand the product roadmap and contribute to feature development
- Participate in software development activities, including implementing, testing, and shipping code under the guidance of senior team members
- Support product refinement sessions, aiming to deliver high-quality, scalable software that meets both customer and business needs
- Contribute to creating maintainable solutions by following good design practices, adhering to engineering standards, and striving for quality
