Who you are
- 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience as an Account Executive (subsequent experience in Catering, Hotel, and hospitality will also be considered)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in the use of personal computers, CRM software, sales enablement tools, and Google Suite
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail throughout all levels of communication and work
- Ability to establish work priorities and manage time effectively
- Ability to use initiative and good judgment in accomplishing tasks with minimal errors

- We’re seeking a qualified Senior Account Executive to help us sell the products and services that our customers have grown to rely on
- The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and managing post-sale relationships within the corporate catering market
- You will play a critical role in expanding our client base and establishing long-lasting customer relationships
- Often tasked with giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, it’s essential that our Account Executive be personable and professional
- Prospect and identify potential clients through research, cold calls, utilizing modern sales engagement tools/strategies, and networking
- Responsible for overseeing day-to-day processes in all aspects of clients' sales cycle while ensuring compliance with internal standards and requirements
- Attend required training sessions, courses, etc. to develop and maintain up-to-date skills and product knowledge
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis and product demonstrations to prospects
- Create customized sales proposals and presentations to address client needs
- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and ensure a smooth transition to the post-sale phase
- Manage and grow existing client relationships to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and revenue goals
- Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and contribute to the team's success
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in the CRM system
- Promptly and accurately respond to client inquiries and internal team requests
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management
- Identify and prospect potential corporate clients within our Ideal Client Profile, which includes various industries of companies headquartered in the US

Cater2.me was founded by two Morgan Stanley and Oliver Wyman alums, who set out to create a more varied and exciting alternative to traditional corporate catering. The service connects companies with local food vendors, offering a customizable, rotating menu. Since its launch, Cater2.me has diversified significantly, and now offers a wider range of non-culinary perks.
In recent years, Cater2.me has worked hard to expand its operations and is now active in dozens of US cities. In 2024, it was acquired by food truck platform Roaming Hunger, which will help the company offer new products and resources through its new owner. This new partnership and a steadily growing market presence will be instrumental if Cater2.me is to continue competing with more traditional catering and perks solutions.
