Who you are
- Experience - 5+ years of experience managing a sales team at a B2B financial services, fintech, or SaaS organization with 10+ years of overall business development experience
- Proven track record of enabling individual sellers to hit or exceed quotas
- Technical aptitude - You’re technologically savvy and can easily get up to speed on modern tech stacks (i.e., Salesforce, Google Drive, etc.)

What the job involves
- Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we’re excited to hire an Internal Sales Manager to join our Client Development team
- You will lead a team of sales representatives towards achieving revenue goals by overseeing day-to-day sales operations, managing pipeline activity, and providing coaching to ensure your team is successful
- This role requires a strong focus on assessing and optimizing our sales processes, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment with customer needs
- Consistently demonstrate sales competencies and lead team to hit quota
- Create realistic forecasts for assigned territory based on historical data, current pipeline, and market conditions
- Design, implement, and continuously improve on strategy and processes to support predictable and scalable growth
- Manage team effectively, foster employee engagement, and provide ongoing, data-driven coaching and feedback
- Systematically capture advisor feedback to help inform company priorities (e.g., product roadmap, marketing campaigns)
- Contribute to the sales team’s goal of creating predictable, scalable growth by proactively identifying ways to make the team better, meeting sales SLAs, and consistently maintaining accurate and complete records in Salesforce
- Demonstrate coachability and growth mindset; absorb and apply feedback to increase effectiveness and efficiency

Altruist has created a cloud-based digital investing platform for independent financial advisors (IFAs). In the past, it’s been common for financial advisors selling products on a commission basis to have access to advanced digital systems, but not those working entirely independently.
Altruist brings an all-in-one platform to all IFAs, removing the need to use multiple programs to manage client accounts whilst bringing high quality assets to all investors, regardless of portfolio size.
Advisors can save time, compress costs and ultimately do more for their clients. Altruist operates a pricing model that scales up with the number of required accounts, unlike some competitor products such as Adviser and Intelliflo which charge a flat monthly subscription fee. Off the back of impressive funding, the company is set to expand its service offerings and support a wider range of RIAs as it becomes a truly comprehensive advising solution.
