Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate has experience working with influencers in the past and some years of experience in marketing, preferably with a direct-to-consumer brand
- You should be familiar with eCommerce and comfortable with retail operations processes, inventory management and accuracy, and will take a direct role in supporting the operations and finance team with internal and external audits
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 1 dedicated to influencer performance marketing (internships included) and strong preference for experience in DTC eCommerce
- A highly organized “doer” with an exceptional ability to prioritize, multitask, work autonomously, and communicate proactively
- Experience with negotiating terms and rates in prior work experiences
- Analytical, structured thinker who is comfortable with numbers and has Excel experience with a track record of leveraging insights to optimize campaigns
- Working knowledge of the influencer landscape across all social media platforms
- Dedicated experience in direct influencer communication across all social platforms, experience with influencer marketing platforms is a plus
- Ability to work with the team at all levels, within a highly collaborative environment
- You are exceptional at streamlining processes, keeping things organized and executing with competing priorities and
- You’re a problem solver. You’ve “Escaped the Room”. You can think on your feet, with analytical skills a huge plus

What the job involves
- This candidate will report to the Senior Director of Product
- You will report directly to our Influencer Marketing Manager
- Create and manage on-brand and high-performance influencer efforts and coordinate communication across a broad and diverse influencer ecosystem
- Streamline operational processes related to our influencer marketing efforts, which will include organizing and shipping samples, corresponding, and following up with influencers
- Source, develop, and pitch new partnerships and assists in influencer sourcing
- Identify and evaluate channel expansion opportunities to help us reach target customers, expand our reach, and stay on top of the latest trends
- Drive efficient performance, track and optimize campaigns daily, weekly and monthly to hit our conversion targets ,and reporting on campaign KPIs

The demand for traditional cabled headphones and speakers has dropped dramatically in recent years due to innovations in wireless audio technology, resulting in a lucrative new industry. However, despite the demand, wireless audio technology still often follows a one size fits all approach to listening purposes, and due to the dominance of headphone producers such as Apple and Samsung, the prices are unaffordable for many.
Raycon sells wireless headphones and speakers, with each product being purpose-specific such as for everyday listening, exercise, gaming, and work. The company has differentiated itself from other wireless audio equipment producers by focussing on influencer-driven affiliate marketing for sales, whilst offering its products at a significantly lower price than competitors.
Whilst the company’s biggest challenge will be competing with the likes of Apple’s AirPods and Samsung’s Galaxy Buds, Raycon’s focus on influencer-driven marketing has allowed it to tap into a previously untouched market. The company also shows potential to stand out with its focus on providing more affordable alternatives to consumers, specialized designs, and a long-term customer satisfaction return policy.
