Who you are
- We're seeking candidates who possess high integrity, humility, and an insatiable drive to learn
- 6+ years of progressive experience including FP&A, Strategic Finance, and/or GTM finance
- Direct experience supporting Sales and Marketing organizations in a B2B SaaS and/or usage-based business
- Strong financial modeling skills (Excel and Google Sheets)
- Strong understanding of SaaS and sales metrics (ARR, pipeline, CAC, LTV, conversion, productivity, etc.)
- Experience building headcount and capacity models for growing teams
- Strong analytical toolkit; SQL or experience working with large datasets is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
- Comfort operating in an evolving, fast-paced environment and building structure where it doesn’t yet exist
- Experience in high-growth startups, PLG businesses, and/or scaling sales organizations is a big plus

- We're looking for a Senior Manager, GTM Finance to be the dedicated finance partner for Render's go-to-market organization as we scale
- This is our first GTM-focused finance hire—a high-ownership and strategic role where you’ll build the models, forecasting processes, metrics, and reporting that shape how we invest in growth
- You’ll work closely with our VP of Revenue, VP of Marketing, Head of RevOps, and Data Science team to turn data into decisions and impact
- As an early finance hire, you’ll also contribute to broader company planning and help establish the foundations of our finance function
- We are open to hiring at the Senior Manager or Manager level for this role
- You'll act as a trusted finance partner to Sales and Marketing leadership, supporting both day-to-day decision-making and long-term strategy
- Lead annual and quarterly planning for Sales and Marketing, including revenue, metrics, headcount, expense budgets, and investment prioritization
- Build and maintain sales capacity and productivity models to inform hiring pace, ramp expectations, and performance targets
- Partner with Marketing to evaluate channel and program investments, helping ensure spend aligns with pipeline and revenue outcomes
- Support pricing, deal evaluation, and other analyses that inform GTM strategy and investment decisions
- Strengthen forecasting rigor and improve how the company understands GTM performance
- Improve and maintain ARR and revenue forecasting models, incorporating sales capacity, productivity, and other key drivers of revenue growth
- Build clear reporting on pipeline health, conversion, sales productivity, and other key SaaS metrics
- Partner closely with RevOps, BizOps, and Data Science to ensure GTM metrics and reporting support accurate forecasting and decision-making
- Analyze GTM performance trends to identify key drivers and surface actionable insights for Sales, Marketing, and company leadership
- Support company-wide budgeting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis
- Contribute to board materials and company planning processes
- Improve financial models, reporting frameworks, and planning tools as the business scales
- Help define how FP&A partners cross-functionally across the organization

Render's main challenge is competing with large-scale legacy players, including the "big three": Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. However, so far Render has held its own, largely thanks to its superior flexibility, innovative modern features and competitive price.
