Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, 5+ years of experience working in data analytics, statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience in data transformation, analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in data analysis languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and data visualization tools (e.g., Sigma, Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into stories and recommendations
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
What the job involves
- Octus’ Product Analytics team is seeking a Senior Product Analytics Specialist to unlock the power of data-driven decision-making across our organization
- You will play a pivotal role in extracting valuable insights from complex data sets to shape our product strategies, enhance customer experience, and drive our business forward
- Developing a deep understanding of our products, internal tools, strategic priorities, stakeholder needs, as well as key customers segments
- Data Transformation: Combine and transform raw data into clean datasets leveraging data-warehousing best practices that allow you to look at the data in new ways
- Insights Generation: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform company strategies and decision-making processes
- Reporting and Visualization: Develop and present clear, comprehensive reports and visualizations that translate complex data into actionable insights for your stakeholders
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, editorial, marketing, and IT teams to ensure alignment of insights and strategies across the organization
- Product Analysis: Be a key part of the product development lifecycle from impact analysis and prioritization through event tracking plans and recommendations for iterative improvements
