Who you are

The ideal candidate will have experience managing blockchain or tech events, strong project management skills, and a passion for building vibrant developer and user communities
High energy, fun and creative
Self-starter, inspired by ideas but team-oriented
5+ years of in-person and virtual event management and planning experience, at least some of which has been gained through large, fintech events
Experience and willingness to work across all aspects of the marketing process: future products, current business, marketing communications, branding, positioning and messaging, and downstream demand/lead generation
Excellent communication, partnership, collaboration, and project management skills
Strong time management and multitasking skills, flexibility and professional confidence
Demonstrated ability to efficiently work on multiple project requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment where tight deadlines and unexpected complexities can happen

What the job involves

BNB Chain is looking for a dynamic and organized Events Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute events that drive community engagement and ecosystem growth across the APAC region
Plan and execute virtual and in-person events strategies
Connect business priorities, objectives and key messages for events
Coordinate and manage pre-event promotion, on-the-day management and post-event follow up activities, including email campaigns, surveys and other inbound and outbound correspondence
Work to schedule regular events and manage all associated activities including creation of landing pages, email invites and follow ups, and manage registrations and reporting
Produce compelling content for various distribution channels, including webinars and event materials, presentations, conferences and meetups
Create user engagement by delivering exciting and innovative events to our community
Assist with the creative development of event initiatives, from branding, agenda design, content creation, and venue selection to event execution
Negotiate and run external partners/vendors for multiple events
Assist with tracking of budget costs throughout the course of event projects and communicate scope changes that affect budget

An abbreviation of “Build ‘N Build”, BNB Chain was developed as an evolution of the Binance Smart Chain when it merged with the Binance Chain. A layer-1 blockchain, BNB Chain is a community of crypto and NFT engineers and plans to build on the decentralising efforts of Blockchain.

Aiming to be “bigger than Binance”, BNB Chain is also EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible and has a multichain function. Alongside this, it assists users with a higher capacity and lower latency asset management platform and has been used for hundreds of billions of transactions since its founding in 2017.

Despite a challenging 2022 - when a $570M hack exposed cross-chain vulnerabilities - BNB Chain has since reinforced its infrastructure and rebuilt trust. In the years since, it has remained one of the most widely used layer-1 blockchains by users and transactions, particularly across DeFi and NFTs. While scrutiny around security and decentralisation persists, its scale, developer ecosystem, and consistent usage position it as a major player int he blockchain space.
