Role
Who you are
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry with specific experience in funding, treasury, or financial operations
- Ability and willingness to work Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours
- Experience maintaining treasury management software (TMS) or complex enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems highly preferred (especially experience with Kyriba)
- Experience with cash forecasting highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to pick up new platforms such as Tableau and SQL
- Transparent communication and strong relationship-building skills to effectively work with cross-functional partners
- Proven organization skills and the ability to prioritize and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and the analytical skills needed to work with limited direction
- Ability to perform and thrive in a startup environment where you are often building processes from scratch
- Curiosity and drive to learn about blockchain and help out where needed
- Positive attitude, great team player, and interest in mentoring others
- Mortgage or real estate lending experience is a big plus
- Experience with warehouse lines, securitizations, or investor reporting
- Adhere to all company security policies and data handling procedures
- Complete mandatory security awareness training within required timeframes
- Promptly report any suspected security incidents or suspicious activity to the Security team
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a self-motivated and curious Senior Analyst to support our Treasury and Financial Operations across a complex, multi-entity environment. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate daily cash and digital asset visibility while managing the operational mechanics behind our liquidity, loan sale, and reporting processes
- Additionally, you will be responsible for executing critical funding activities and supporting operational payment workflows that keep Figure running smoothly
- You will work closely with Finance, Capital Markets, Product, and Legal teams to maintain strong treasury controls and help scale our proprietary financial infrastructure. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to work at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technology
- Prepare cash and inventory reporting across entities to ensure total liquidity visibility, in support of short term actions and longer range forecasting
- Monitor and reconcile daily bank balances and transaction activity across all operating accounts
- Perform daily cash positioning to ensure compliance with liquidity requirements for funding, vendor payments, and operational processes
- Execute cash movements, including wires, ACH transfers, and internal account allocations, adhering to approval protocols and SOX controls
- Manage funding operations for loan sales while ensuring strict compliance with legal agreements
- Support vendor payment processing, including wire initiation, callback confirmations, and oversight of wire templates
- Collaborate with the Accounting department on month-end close processes related to funding and sale activities
- Own and communicate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required by legal agreements
- Partner with Product, Data, Engineering and Legal teams to streamline cross-functional data collection and resolve outstanding financial queries
- Reconcile loan and collateral data to ensure accuracy across internal systems and blockchain records
- Continuously improve existing workflows to increase the scalability and efficiency of our financial operations
- Contribute to the company’s capital raising initiatives, including debt financings
Our take
Figure is the largest non-bank provider of home equity lines of credit, disrupting the lending industry with its blockchain platform, Provenance. The platform works as a registry, ledger, and exchange; handling loans, mortgaging, private credit and private investment.
The company is one of few that offers users the option to leverage their cryptocurrency assets to get loans or mortgages. Betting heavily on the cryptocurrency market has presented both its ups and downs for Figure, but a successful IPO in 2025 suggests its position nowadays is steady.
As digital assets continue to gain mainstream acceptance, there should be ample opportunity for Figure to expand its reach in the future. The company's IPO was supported by Goldman Sachs, Jefferies and BofA Securities, and raised an impressive $787.5 million.
