- Full Lifecycle Recruiting Experience: Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting, ideally within a high-growth tech startup or small company environment
- Technical Recruiting Expertise: Strong experience recruiting for software engineering and product management roles. You understand the nuances of these positions and know how to identify top-tier talent in a competitive market

What the job involves
- Lithic is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our team and help us scale our talent acquisition efforts across engineering, product, and business functions.
- In this role, you’ll be instrumental in building diverse and high-quality talent pipelines, delivering an exceptional candidate experience, and continuously improving our hiring process.
- Build and Manage Talent Pipelines: Proactively source, engage, and nurture relationships with top-tier candidates across engineering, product, and business roles to ensure a steady pipeline of exceptional talent
- Candidate Experience: In partnership with our recruiting coordinator, serve as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience from initial outreach through to offer stage. You’ll be a champion of our hiring culture, maintaining a consistent and exceptional experience for every candidate
- Iterate and Improve Processes: Continuously refine our recruitment process to optimize for speed, efficiency, and candidate experience. Use data and feedback to drive improvements
- Interview Training and Development: Own and drive interview training across the company, ensuring interviewers are well-equipped to assess candidates fairly and effectively while aligning with Lithic’s values
- Collaboration with Leadership: Partner with the Head of People and leadership teams to develop a comprehensive playbook for identifying and hiring top talent, ensuring alignment with our company goals
- Employer Branding: Contribute to building and amplifying Lithic’s employer brand, positioning us as one of the best places to work in NYC. You’ll advocate for our culture and values in every interaction with potential candidates
Our take
Lithic has developed a fast and simple card-issuing API that allows developers to create and monitor payment cards - physical and virtual - and the transactions that take place on them. Its expanding list of use cases includes on-demand services, vertical SaaS, and alternative lending, meaning its product spans a promising and exciting remit of growing sectors.
Lithic began as Privacy.com, helping customers keep their transactions private and secure through generating disposable, virtual payment card numbers. The significant uptake prompted a pivot of service to corporate customers and the card-issuing API (although Privacy.com continues as a subsidiary), and this savvy strategy has seen notable success as the appetite for fintech solutions continues to grow.
The company has raised impressive rounds of funding to continue developing its platform and its B2B direction. It will need this to keep its edge over larger competitors like Galileo and Marqueta - that is, to maintain its more modern infrastructure, and therefore its appealingly agile functionality for its early-stage startup customers.
