- We are looking for a seasoned, strategic, communications expert to join our growing team of global communications professionals
- The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for storytelling and ability to craft compelling narratives and engagement strategies with the goal of building trust, loyalty and advocacy for ServiceNow and its leaders
- The role is ideal for an innovative communications leader who has a passion for leading a team that represents the best of the best, exudes grace under pressure and who is experienced in working collaboratively with executive leaders and their teams
- 15+ years of communications experience and at least 10 years working with C-Suite executives designing thought leadership programs, social strategies, media campaigns and internal communications strategies within a global organization
- Outstanding navigator of dynamic business environments and collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders and teams to drive desired outcomes
- Desire to lead and evolve a high-performing team at scale that can flex with fast growth and frequent change
- Proven ability to think strategically and drive execution across multiple communication disciplines and channels
- Experience working in a matrixed environment; strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to drive coordination across stakeholders
- Business maturity and experience working with C-Suite and other senior executives
- Exceptional messaging and writing skills; attention to detail and accuracy in all communications deliverables
- Ability to manage multiple communication projects simultaneously and drive strong work-back plans, designed to drive measurable goals and business outcomes
- Experience in large-scale hyper-growth tech company and SaaS companies preferred
- Identify, develop, and tell a great story across multiple channels
- Works calmly with discretion, maintains good judgement and adapt plans and approaches in real-time in a fast paced and dynamic environment
What the job involves
- The VP of Executive Communications leads a team of executive communications pros supporting ServiceNow’s executive leadership team and other senior leaders
- This person will serve as the strategic communications lead and a trusted partner, advisor, and master storyteller to the company’s most senior leaders
- Working collaboratively and with an integrated team across public relations, content/thought leadership, social media, employee communications, and brand marketing, this leader will develop integrated communications and executive visibility strategy to inspire multiple audiences to be part of (and follow) the story of ServiceNow
- He/she/they will partner closely with business leaders and oversee execution of recommended content, creative, and stakeholder communications
- The role will work cross-functionally with a variety of teams across the company to build, amplify, and measure results of communications programs
- The ideal candidate will ensure internal/external communications are inspiring, informative, emotional, modern, and deeply connected to target audiences
- Lead, motivate, and continue to grow and develop ServiceNow’s executive communications team
- Understand the communications landscape and needs of various audiences, regularly evolving to reflect changes to business priorities, supporting narratives, and the external environment
- Design and produce executive visibility programs that turn ideas into compelling narratives, frameworks, and creative storytelling concepts
- Provide strategic counsel to the executives on communication matters, including reputation management and crisis communication
- Manage and engage with communications agencies and contractors on a variety of projects and initiatives
- Deliver executive-level work products including scripts, speeches, videos, and social media amplification plans
- Establish and design processes to ensure timely execution through final publication and governance of all content
- Serve as a resource across the Communications team to ensure message alignment and consistency across all audiences
- Use data to evaluate communication activities and develop best practices and strategies for improvement

The company is prioritising organic growth over mergers and acquisitions, with a target revenue of $15 billion, something which its Visa partnership will no doubt aid in achieving.
