Who you are

- Prior sales experience (especially outside sales) is strongly preferred
What the job involves
- This opportunity is focused on prospecting, relationship-building, and securing commitment to deals. Once a partnership is locked in, you’ll hand off to an Account Manager who handles all backend setup and execution, allowing you to stay focused on generating new opportunities
- Relationship Management: Leverage your existing network to identify and engage potential partners (schools, teams, programs, and community groups)
- Presentations: Conduct in-person meetings and demos
- Sales: Prospect and generate new business. Close new partnerships and transition them smoothly to an Account Manager for execution
- Responsible for your own business operations to secure sales, considering any costs in that process
- A short initial commitment (one quarter) with the opportunity to extend after feedback and review
- Clear role focus—no backend admin or long-term account management
- A supportive, collaborative team that values relationships and impact over ego
- This is an independent contractor position and does not include a base salary, employer-sponsored benefits, or paid leave. You control the manner, means, and schedule of your activities
Our take
Youth activities are a vital part of children’s creative and sporting life growing up, but public schools and groups often struggle to raise the funds needed for them. This is what Snap! Raise takes aim at, with its fundraising platform geared towards group and team activities for kids.
Where Snap! Raise sets itself apart is with the automated features it offers. Rather than just a funding page, it shows you a list of everyone you’ve contacted with a fundraising email, how many times you’ve contacted them, and separates them into groups of those who have and haven’t donated as well as showing how much each donor has given. These analytics help users to work out where to target resources for further support.
It operates within a tough market, GoFundMe is the dominant player in fundraising, and there are rival startups aimed at helping run and finance youth teams, like TeamSnap and RallyUp. However, Snap! Raise has some unique functionalities and has been active in its acquisitions, partnerships, and funding to boost its position.
