Role
Who you are
- You don’t just “manage” accounts — you own the relationship
- You remember their kid’s name, their dog’s name, and which beach they were just lounging on
- We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just want to manage renewals — but to build the entire Account Management function from scratch
- You’re done with slow-moving orgs and corporate politics…
- You’re itching to roll up your sleeves and build something that actually matters
- You want to be trusted to make decisions and backed to grow something real
- You know how to handle high-value clients without breaking a sweat
- You’ve renewed tough accounts, navigated tricky stakeholders, and probably rescued a deal or two with just a well-timed call and a killer QBR
- Proven experience in account management and renewals — ideally in a fast-moving SaaS B2B startup or scale-up
- Comfort with enterprise clients — you can hold your own with budget owners, legal, and the occasional CFO
- Fluent English is a must; other languages = bonus points
- You actually use the CRM (we use HubSpot) and believe process = peace
- Remote-ready — you’re independent but not a silo, and you love async + fast check-ins with your crew
What the job involves
- Freelance if outside the Netherlands, Employment contract if based in the NL

- This is a greenfield role at a pivotal moment in our growth
- You’ll be the go-to for renewals across our growing portfolio of global enterprise clients
- You’ll work closely with decision-makers, feed insights back to product, and help shape how we retain and grow revenue
- Run the entire renewal lifecycle for key enterprise accounts
- Lead QBRs and exec check-ins like a pro — no awkward surprises, ever
- Partner up with Sales, Success & Product to find and convert upsell moments
- Keep CRM hygiene sharp — stakeholder maps, risks, intel (HubSpot is our home base)
- Feed real client insight into how we price, package, and prioritise
- Define and build the renewal process — and the team behind it
- Be the adult in the room when the deals are big and the stakes are high

Our take
Striving to constantly improve the performance of a customer support team is an essential value for a business, but doing so requires coaching based on actionable insights. Although software that measures performance analytics and produces such insights exists, this often requires staff to work in a particular manner, and without incentive, this is often avoided.
Kaizo provides a Workforce Performance Management (WPM) platform specializing in improving customer support teams through gamification, encouraging staff to track their sales success through "missions". Through this self-tracking approach, businesses are able to capture coachable moments for staff, integrate QA into work processes, and save time on manual reporting.
WPM platforms are nothing new, but Kaizo has taken a unique approach by tapping into the fulfilling feeling that comes with gamification, using this to encourage self-reporting and workflow improvement, whilst providing the data for coachable performance analytics. The company claims that this method allows businesses to improve their customer satisfaction rates by 5%, reduce resolution time by 60%, and save 4-8 hours on reporting every week.
