- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred
- Extensive experience in a senior finance role, preferably in a cybersecurity environment
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Expertise in NetSuite and experience with FP&A tools, particularly those similar to Pigment (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
What the job involves
- We're looking for a sharp and motivated Senior Finance Director to lead our finance team and partner with leadership on Cobalt's growth
- As Senior Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning and analysis, reporting, and compliance
- Leading and mentoring a team of six finance professionals (FTEs), fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Effectively managing expectations and communication with the Executive team, providing timely and accurate financial insights and recommendations
- Playing a critical role in supporting the transition to new business metrics, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and analysis
- Leading the mid-year reforecasting process, incorporating updated business assumptions and providing insightful variance analysis
- Overseeing the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and a smooth and efficient audit completion
- Maintaining our financial systems, including NetSuite and our FP&A tool, Pigment
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports
- Implementing financial policies and procedures as needed
- Collaborating with other departments to provide financial support and guidance
