Who you are
- 7+ years of experience in wireless connectivity or embedded software development, with significant focus on Bluetooth Classic and BLE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Strong programming experience in C/C++ for embedded systems, and Java/Kotlin/Swift for mobile platforms
- Deep expertise in Bluetooth stacks, profiles, pairing/bonding mechanisms, custom services, and performance optimization
- Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
- Hands-on experience with iOS CoreBluetooth and Android Bluetooth APIs
- Understanding of wireless coexistence challenges and mitigation strategies

What the job involves
- As a Senior Bluetooth Software Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping Motive’s next-generation connectivity solutions
- You will drive the design, architecture, and development of Bluetooth Classic and BLE features across embedded platforms and mobile devices (iOS and Android). Beyond being a strong individual contributor, you will also provide technical leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional guidance to ensure high-quality, scalable, and future-proof connectivity solutions
- This role will help define and deliver advanced wireless capabilities across Motive’s embedded and mobile product stack
- You bring deep expertise in Bluetooth technologies, embedded systems, and mobile frameworks, and can influence both technical direction and execution

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of Bluetooth Classic and BLE features for embedded platforms and smartphones (iOS and Android)
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor, guiding team members on best practices for wireless development and debugging
- Collaborate with product, hardware, and mobile teams to define end-to-end Bluetooth connectivity requirements and solutions
- Debug, optimize, and validate wireless protocols and firmware across multi-core embedded systems and mobile OS environments
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks for Bluetooth validation and interoperability
- Stay ahead of industry trends, Bluetooth SIG standards, and emerging technologies, ensuring Motive products remain cutting-edge
