Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with expertise in offline marketing channels (including direct mail), as they will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing direct mail media
- Backed by 3+ years of experience in performance marketing and/or campaign management
- A result-focused, detailed-oriented thinker who’s equal parts creative and analytical
- Someone with excellent communication and organizational skills, both in written and verbal forms
- A quick learner who can swiftly, accurately, and efficiently analyze data, and tell an intelligent story based on the information
- A proactive problem solver with experience in business intelligence tools (e.g., Looker) and spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel)
- Able to thrive in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously and working cross functionally across both internal and external teams
- Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE)
What the job involves
- Warby Parker is on the lookout for a driven performance marketing specialist to join our team as an Associate Manager
- They will also play a key role in driving performance and executing strategy across various marketing channels, including linear TV, streaming, online video, podcasts, and more. Sound right up your alley? Read on!
- Reporting & Analysis: Create and present detailed reports on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations based on data
- Planning & Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address needs related to direct mail and other offline marketing initiatives
- Creative Briefs: Develop clear and actionable creative briefs, collaborating with internal teams and agencies to ensure alignment with campaign goals
- Project Management: Oversee campaign execution, manage timelines, and coordinate with creative teams, vendors, and mailing houses to ensure quality and budget adherence
- Strategy & Optimization: Support the development of marketing strategies and execute various types of testing, including A/B, incrementality, pulse, and creative—always working to refine tactics based on performance data insights
- Agency Management: Help maintain clear direction and manage relationships with external agencies, ensuring alignment with our marketing strategies and objectives

They say every great idea starts with a problem, and Warby Parker kept it simple - glasses were just too expensive. Inspired by the need to have great-looking frames that didn’t break the bank, the co-founders set out to disrupt the legacy-dominated eyewear market.
Going up against Luxottica was no easy feat. They are the name behind Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Persol, as well as licence holders with Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, and many more. However, by circumventing traditional manufacturing methods, using in-house design, and engaging with customers directly, Warby Parker was able to provide high-quality and good-looking prescription glasses at a fraction of the cost.
The company's retail category disruption has led to it being one of the most successful direct-to-consumer brands of the early 21st century. Late 2021 saw Warby Parker debut an initial public offering (IPO), giving it the liquidity for the 10% footprint increase without stressing cash flow. Since then, it has found continued success and made a number of fund raises and high-profile collaborations to raise brand awareness and bring its affordable, stylish glasses to even more consumers.
