Who you are
- Specific experience in developing clear product positioning and go-to-market strategies for B2B SaaS products
- Proven ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis
- Collaboration with team members from all levels of the business, across time zones. Looking for specific experience working with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial team members in a cross-functional manner
- Personal experience as a traveler, offering firsthand insight into user challenges during trip planning and online booking
- BS degree or equivalent experience required, background in Marketing, Business or Communications strongly preferred. MBA or similar experience is a plus
- Experience in the travel and hospitality industry is strongly preferred, but not required
What the job involves
- We’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead product positioning and go-to-market activities for KAYAK for Business (K4B)
- You will drive adoption by clearly communicating K4B’s value to corporate customers and represent their needs across the company on our customer and the loudest champion of our product and feature set
- Conduct market research and gather quantitative and qualitative feedback to represent customer needs to our Commercial, Product and Engineering teams
- Identify and document buyer personas, pain points and use cases; recommend new features and enhancements that address pain points or solve key use cases
- Develop our product narrative and messaging to explain K4B’s value in the corporate travel market, tailored to different customer personas
- Lead go-to-market strategy for new features and product offerings; coordinate with teams across the company to put together positioning, communications, and sales and training collateral
- Partner with Brand Marketing, Sales and Communications on external positioning and product-focused campaigns
- Support external marketing efforts including our public website, blog posts, and events
- Create and maintain sales enablement materials including decks, battlecards, case studies, and demos

It offers a variety of tools and features such as KAYAK trips, explore, and price forecast.
There’s been speculation over the years about online travel companies getting into the hotel business and KAYAK is no exception. The company is expanding its hospitality offerings beyond its traditional hotel referral and booking services but despite speculation through the 2020s, has stopped short of opening hotels under its own brand, preferring to partner with preexisting companies on their hotel tech.
