Who you are
- >6 years of experience in product design, preferably in fintech or consumer apps
- Mastery of Figma and other modern design tools
- Exceptional visual and interaction design skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your own projects effectively
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly
- A curiosity for personal finance and financial wellness
- A growth mindset and openness to feedback and new ideas

What the job involves
- We're seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting and maintaining the quality bar for product experiences at Copilot Money
- Design a cross-platform industry-leading personal finance management app
- Develop features that turn ambiguous user problems into concrete solutions
- Shape the visual direction of Copilot Money’s apps through both deep systems thinking and high-craft visual polish
- Work in a highly collaborative way with product and engineering teams, along with other designers
- Lead design reviews and share your work regularly with your team
Our take
Nowadays, despite the vast number of personal finance apps, many do not meet the evolving needs of consumers. Even when they are received well, they can struggle to make money - which is what led to the closing down of the popular Mint app by Intuit.
Following the downfall of Mint, Copilot recognized the market gap and embarked on a mission to provide users with a solution. Its offering focuses on analysis, allowing users to make informed financial decisions by distilling complex financial data into actionable insights.
Learning from the mistakes of free-to-use personal finance apps, Copilot charges a monthly fee, and impressively achieved profitability in 2023. With a solid foundation of venture capital, the company is primed to develop new features, including AI-driven insights and Android compatibility, further cementing its position as a leader in the personal finance app market.
