Role
Who you are
- The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing the development of print and digital marketing deliverables for multi-location organizations and have experience in UX/UI design
- 5+ years of experience; professional services graphic design experience preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- UX/UI experience highly-preferred
- Creative, organized, and highly motivated individual with a keen eye for design and attention to detail
- Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Must have the ability to balance multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Self-motivated approach with the ability to take initiative while also being a team player
- Ability to maintain top-quality work in a high-volume environment
- Familiarity with HubSpot ,Pica9, Figma, Hotjar, CrazyEgg, and/or Microsoft Clarity a plus
- Experience with video editing, animation, and/or motion graphics a plus
- Must be able to provide a design portfolio of past work upon request
What the job involves
- Convene is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join its global Marketing Team
- The Graphic Designer champions visual storytelling and is a creative visionary who can bring the Convene product mix to life via compelling collateral
- This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enforcing the visual identity and standards for a portfolio of brands as well as executing the strategic vision of marketing materials, brand photography and videography, sales enablement collateral, property signage, company pitches/presentations, and more
- This position will sit on the Brand & Communications Team and work closely with the Performance Marketing Team to support Demand Generation and Regional Marketing efforts
- The Graphic Designer will have one direct report - a Marketing Project Manager
- Manage all aspects of creative production
- Design and format marketing materials including print and digital ads, mailers, event/trade show signage, email templates and e-blasts, multimedia assets, and social media graphics
- Design sales enablement collateral including one-sheets, brochures, bi-annual menus, and package/proposal decks
- Provide art direction for property photo shoots. Ensure the capture of quality imagery aligned with brand standards
- Creative collaboration on global and regional campaign development
- Leverage UX/UI experience to assist with website design and architecture
- Work cross-functionally across the organization to design pitch/presentation decks and lead the creation of supporting infographics
- Identify collateral that can be templated for scalability. Build templates and subsequently guidelines for updating. Enforce brand standards for quality control
- Manage art direction and assist with visual development of video production assets
- Develop visual identity and standards for the ever-evolving Convene portfolio of brands (which includes etc.venues, Club 75, and the “by Convene” label) in partnership with Product Team

Convene designs and operates premium meeting, event, and flexible workspace venues inside Class A office buildings. Founded with the aim of improving how people meet and work, its venues can host a wide range of events while also offering flexible WorkSuites and shared workspaces.
Like many businesses focused on in-person gatherings, Convene was significantly impacted by the pandemic in 2020, when demand for physical events declines sharply. In response, the company expanded is capabilities to support virtual and hybrid events, allowing conferences to reach both in-person an remote audiences. These formats allow participants to join sessions online, interact with speakers and hosts, and connect with other attendees through digital networking tools.
Convene has since continued evolving its platform and physical venues to support a more flexible events market. The company also strengthened its international presence through the 2023 acquisition of etc.venues, expanding into the UK and growing its portfolio to dozens of locations across the US and UK. With this broader footprint and a mix of in-person, hybrid, and flexible workspace offerings, Convene is aiming to scale is hospitality-driven model even more and grow annual revenues to $100M.
