Who you are

  • This position requires a strategic thinker and a hands-on leader who can foster a positive work culture, support employee growth, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HR, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and benefits
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to think strategically and act tactically to achieve business goals
  • Proficiency in HR software and systems
  • Experience in the fintech or technology industry is a plus

  • Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains
  • General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency

What the job involves

  • The Director of Human Resources will play a crucial role in shaping the HR strategy and initiatives at CoinFlip
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with CoinFlip's business goals
  • Advise senior leadership on organizational development, talent management, and workforce planning
  • Lead HR initiatives that support a high-performance culture and enhance employee engagement
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that promotes employee well-being and satisfaction
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, team-building activities, and feedback mechanisms
  • Design and oversee competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to maintain a competitive edge in the market
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that mitigate risk and promote a safe and respectful workplace
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address any potential HR risks
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure the hiring of top talent

Our take

Believing in the benefits of briging cryptocurrency to a broader audience, CoinFlip has been providing a network of Bitcoin ATMs since 2015, with over 4,000 now located across the US and Canada.

Since its inception the company has stood out among competitors with its low fees, up to 30% lower than its larger rivals General Bytes and Genesis Coin. However, the company's vision reaches beyond just providing kiosks, with the recent introduction of Olliv, a self-custodial wallet aimed at simplifying crypto and allowing easy onboarding into the crypto economy.
