Role
Who you are
- 4+ years in analytics, data ops, or data product roles, ideally at a growth stage company
- Hands-on experience with BigQuery and Metabase (or similar BI tools}
- Strong SQL skills
- Excellent communication skills - able to translate complex data into business insights
- A builder mindset: scrappy, resourceful, and eager to take ownership from day one
- Comfort managing integrations across marketing and product analytics platforms
- Demonstrated track record of bias towards action - you automate first, document second, and move fast.
Desirable
- Familiarity with dbt, ETL frameworks, and APis
- Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g., dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery Redshift}
- Background in product analytics (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or event tracking}
- Experience implementing data governance and access control in BI tools
What the job involves
- We're looking for a hands-on Data Product Manager to lead creation of data-powered insights for the business
- You'll make our data fast, reliable, and accessible across teams, connecting sources like BigQuery, Datadog, and Iterable into one trusted source of truth
- You will be responsible for empowering teams across the company to make better, faster, and more data-informed decisions.This role is ideal for someone who loves working at the intersection of data, product, and business, and who is a truth seeker, passionate about empowering teams to use data effectively
- You'll be building, not just analyzing - you'll design pipelines, clean data, ship dashboards, and automate manual work
- Working within an organization created at the intersection of health care, retail and financial technology, no two days will look the same
- Understand business needs and produce actionable insights from data for business teams to use
- Maintain Metabase dashboards for both internal and customer reporting
- Design scalable data models and optimize query performance for speed and reliability
- Create a single source of truth for KPis used by Product, Finance, Operations, and Account Management
- Automate recurring data pulls and eliminate manual reporting to enable scale
- Manage cross-functional data roadmap, including stakeholder input and feedback
- Monitor job health, troubleshoot issues, and partner with Engineering on fixes or schema changes
- Manage vendor contracts, integrations, and upgrades related to analytics infrastructure
Our take
Between 80% and 90% of a person’s health is determined by environmental and behavioural factors. These Social Determinants of Health (or SDOH) are what evermore (previously Soda Health) aims to address, setting out to create more equitable styles of health benefits and ensure better health across social borders.
It works by changing the way health benefits are claimed, offering members a sort of pay-as-you-go benefits credit card. What's covered here are things not traditionally included among health benefits, which are impacted by wealth inequity, the ability to buy nutritional foods or over-the-counter medicines, and limited access to transportation for healthcare appointments.
It’s an interesting model, and not one which has many directly comparable competitors. But the concept of HealthTech for SDOH is an overcrowded market, and evermore's $50 million in Series B funding awarded in 2024 will help it stand firm against larger start-ups like Unite Us or Cityblock.
