What the job involves
- As a Strategic Growth Manager at Compass International Holdings, you will be at the center of our growth strategy, directly responsible for driving net-new revenue across our company-owned brokerages, which may include Coldwell Banker, Sotheby’s International Realty, Corcoran, and Compass. You will partner with top-producing real estate agents—true CEOs of their own businesses—and influence them to grow their business with us
- In this role, you will work alongside an incredibly high-performing and driven team, with colleagues coming from diverse and rigorous backgrounds including investment banking, management consulting, law, and enterprise sales. You’ll operate in a uniquely high-impact environment—our Strategic Growth Managers (SGMs) are conservatively generating 15x more revenue per head than top global tech firms, driven by the strength of our market, talent, and business momentum
- Drive strategic growth by identifying, engaging, and structuring deals with top-performing real estate agents and teams, expanding our presence within your market
- Conduct consultative business discovery and deliver enterprise-style demonstrations of our technology platform, tailoring the presentations to the unique needs of agents, teams, and brokerage leaders
- Position our value proposition including technology, marketing, culture, and growth platform
- Build and manage a strong pipeline with a consultative and relationship-driven process
- Develop deep market expertise and maintain a strong local presence
- Collaborate with leadership, agents, and cross-functional teams
- Work directly with decision-makers for faster, high-impact conversations
- Engage in a highly consultative, human sales process requiring high IQ and EQ
- Build trusted relationships with high-performing professionals
- Operate with high autonomy and ownership over your success
- This is a quota carrying role measured by revenue attainment. Deal sizes range from $75K to $5M+ with an average 30-day sales cycle. Revenue is measured by agent, team and brokerage production volume
Our take
Compass uses an AI-driven platform to smooth out and speed up the process of buying, selling, or renting property. It functions much like a traditional broker, but employs tech to reduce the time, uncertainty, cost and friction of transactions for buyers, sellers and agents.
It's disrupting a sector so far largely averse to tech innovation, allowing users to close deals in less time than the industry average of 30-45 days. Compass is now the largest independent real estate brokerage in the USA, with over 29,000 agents nationwide.
In 2025, Compass acquired Anywhere Real Estate in a major leap that cements its place among the biggest players in US property. By uniting leading brokerage brands and expanding its agent network on a massive scale, Compass strengthens both its reach and its tech-driven platform.
