Sales Enablement Manager, Guidehouse

• This position calls for a collaborative professional with a positive strategic outlook, excellent communication, business writing, data visualization, editing, and project management skills
• The ideal candidate is revenue cycle knowledgeable in staffing, front-, middle-, and back-end revenue cycle operations and will have experience responding to business opportunities that focus on outsourced healthcare revenue cycle services
• The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material with attention to detail
• A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in professional services proposals is required and at least 2-4 years of experience responding to business opportunities that focus on healthcare revenue cycle services. A solid awareness and understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle process including patient access, mid-revenue cycle, and patient financial services for both facility (hospital) and professional (physician) clients
• Ability to understand and translate complex concepts and ideas into clear communications (both in narrative and through visuals/graphics)
• Superior communication, writing/editing, proofing, and formatting skills
• Ability to manage large, complex pitches/proposals independently
• Advanced skills in Word, Power Point, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• High level of attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
• Ability to coordinate the development of multiple pitches/proposals simultaneously, which requires strong organizational and time management skills, and multi-tasking abilities
• Excellent customer service with individuals at all levels both internal and external to Guidehouse, and an ability to take direction as well as give direction
• Must be a US citizen due to the nature of many of our US government proposals
• The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described

Desirable

• Guidehouse is looking for a proposal manager to develop sales and marketing assets
• This position will develop client pitch decks and proposals. Pitches are typically prepared in Power Point, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel
• Revenue cycle managed services are delivered in the patient access, mid-revenue cycle, and patient financial services for both facility (hospital) and professional (physician) clients
• At Guidehouse, proposal managers always work as part of a team, collaborating with our consultants, management and executives
• Proposal managers typically manage more than one proposal concurrently, and may have support for graphics, writing, editing, formatting, and final production depending on the complexity of the pursuit
• Proposal managers should be able to work at times in the evenings or weekends as required to meet proposal deadlines
• Develop sales pitches / proposals independently with little input from Subject Matter Experts
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Guidehouse Managed Services products and services
• Envision and create detailed visuals illustrating Guidehouse Managed Services products, services and win themes in PPT. Visuals may also include organization charts and work flow diagrams. In some instances provide direction and coordination of content for graphic designers
• Own all sections of the pitch/proposal, responsible for production and delivery of all proposal documents
• Coordinate with pricing staff to ensure that all information needed to prepare the Cost Proposal is available and input is received on time
• Manage the pitch/proposal development process from beginning to end, ensuring that proposals meet all customer requirements such as deadlines, formats, and contents
• Write and review both text and graphics, ensure the narratives comply with RFP requirements, contain win strategies and win themes, and comply with standard format and style criteria
• Develop or lead development of proposal tools such as the outline, team assignments, proposal management plan, schedule, kick-off meeting materials, writing plans, etc
• Participate as a company representative on external capture teams to gather important proposal information and coordinate Guidehouse contributions
• Establish and maintain communications among teammates using collaborative tools (SharePoint), phone calls, e-mail, etc
• Coordinate and obtain final approvals and signatures
• Attend win/loss debriefings and assist with developing lessons learned
• Proof work to minimize errors; rework errors
• Ensure that all documentation relevant to the project is retained in accordance with company and department procedures
• Perform detailed analyses of requirements documents (e.g., RFP, RFQ, SOW) and communicate the results
• Contribute to or lead team initiatives or special projects related to process improvement, content management, quality management or related subjects
• Provide orientation and training for new proposal team members on the proposal development process and procedures, writing strategies, etc
