Who you are
- As a Sales Engineer you may be looking for variety in your customer base, perhaps the chance to specialise in a focused product area or maybe you would like to start designing international solutions. If any of these sound appealing, we’d like to speak with you
- Advanced technical knowledge in areas such as DWDM, optical technology, dark fibre, cloud services, routing, switching, Ethernet, IP & Internet
- Relevant experience in the telecommunications sector, including experience in Sales Engineering/Pre Sales. Earlier experience may have been as a Service Activation or Network Engineer
- Strong applications skill set across network inventory applications, Microsoft Office applications including Visio, Salesforce.com, Google Earth KMZ’s
What the job involves
- As part of euNetworks continued customer and infrastructure growth, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to join the Media & Finance team, based in London
- You will have the opportunity to work alongside Account Directors on a broad variety of our targeted accounts within the Media and Finance accounts verticals
- Engage with customers in a pro-active manner to establish requirements. Provide advice and guidance to customers where needed. Be responsive to requests for information on technical and commercial (cost related) issues
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure that technical designs are fully costed ready for commercial approval
- Develop bespoke solutions for specific customer requirements, and wherever possible promote the euNetworks product set, network capabilities and brand proposition
- Work seamlessly across Sales, Delivery and Engineering functions to ensure your customer solutions have the focus required for both design and delivery phases
- Team structure: You will be providing guidance and support to Graduates and Junior SE’s
- You will receive guidance and support from Senior SEs, Subject Matter Experts, and Sales Engineering Managers

Whilst this presents the infrastructure necessary to support domestic connections for high-spec networking services such as cloud computing, setting up oversea and long-haul fibreoptic connections is a huge challenge requiring vast infrastructural development.
euNetworks provides bandwidth infrastructure services to connect finance, wholesale, data, and other industries, developing the necessary infrastructure to form networks through dark fibre, metro wavelengths, colocation and long haul wavelengths. The company currently focuses on developing intercity network connections across 18 major European cities and overseas long-haul connections across 18 countries.
Whilst fibreoptic infrastructure has become commonplace in recent years, such networks focus on domestic networking and thus limit connection speeds between cities, countries, and continents. Through its long-haul bandwidth infrastructural innovations, euNetworks aims to solve this problem and future-proof high-bandwidth networking for the global connectivity of cloud computing and other high-speed networking innovations.
