Accountant, Replit

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a high-growth startup or SaaS company
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling and analysis
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Replit is seeking an Accountant to support our growing finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations
• As an integral part of our finance function, you'll handle financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance while working cross-functionally to improve efficiency
• Own month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and manage financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Assist in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management
• Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance efforts
• Complete payroll for employees and contractors
• Develop and document accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., People Ops, Legal, and Engineering) on financial processes
• Contribute to system improvements and automation efforts within the finance function
