Who you are

What the job involves
- The data infrastructure team is responsible for the data platform that supports Included Health’s technical strategy
- This platform manages data processing for our engineering, data science, and analytics teams, ensuring efficient, reliable, and predictable outcomes
- Over the next two years, the data infrastructure team will play a crucial role in the organization by developing a cutting-edge, event-driven data platform
- We are seeking a motivated software engineer to join our Data Infrastructure team
- In this role, you will contribute to the development of our next-generation data platform and collaborate with a talented team of engineers
- Assist in designing and implementing the company’s next-generation event-driven data platform
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate adoption and resolve dependency conflicts
- Prioritize for high-value outcomes
- Contribute to improving personal, team, and cross-team efficiency
- Engage in code reviews and promote best practices
- Help identify and address technical debt

It differentiates itself from competitors with its emphasis on improving health outcomes and challenges faced by communities including LGBTQ+ and BIPOC. The negative healthcare experiences faced by these marginalised groups means they often avoid care at a rate that is around 3x greater than the border US population, putting their health at risk.
With healthcare still fragmented and focused on one-size-fits-all solutions, Included Health is disrupting the market by using technology to match patients quickly with the best care, no matter where they live. It currently counts retail behemoths Walmart and Home Depot as customers.
