Who you are
- Proven Experience: Around 5+ years in operations and finance, ideally in a startup, scale-up, or dynamic growth environment
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles and processes, with experience in budgeting, reporting and managing cash flow
- Mission-Driven: Passionate about health and wellbeing and aligned with WONE’s mission to transform workplace health
- Operations Expertise: Skilled in designing and optimising operational processes, with a focus on efficiency and scalability
- Analytical Skills: Able to interpret complex data, draw actionable insights and make informed recommendations
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous with a focus on accuracy in all financial and operational reporting
- Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with financial software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks) and other business tools like Google Workspace and project management software

- Collaborative: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate financial and operational insights clearly
What the job involves
- We’re hiring an Operations & Finance Manager to streamline our business operations and support WONE’s financial health as we scale
- In this multifaceted role, you’ll lead key operational functions, manage financial processes and ensure compliance across the organisation
- Working closely with the executive team, you’ll drive efficiency, support strategic initiatives and provide insight into our financial performance
- This role is essential to building a scalable, efficient infrastructure for growth and to supporting data-informed decisions across WONE
- Financial Management: Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to support informed decision-making
- Prepare financial statements and manage accounts payable/receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Operations Strategy: Develop and implement operational policies and processes that enhance efficiency and support WONE’s growth, working across teams to ensure smooth workflows
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across WONE, providing operational and financial support to enable key projects and initiatives
- Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic planning and performance tracking
- Budget Oversight: Monitor budgets and track expenses across departments, helping teams manage resources effectively
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for operational improvements, recommending and implementing best practices in finance and operations
