Who you are
- Strong foundation in Python and another language
- Hands-on experience with Spark or Databricks
- Familiarity with the use of or concepts underpinning various Data Engineering technologies and approaches
- Ability to lead projects autonomously, prioritise tasks, and deliver high-quality results
- Experience developing bespoke software components for data pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (e.g. AWS)
- Experience with large-scale relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL)
Desirable
- Experience in Scala
- Clear communication skills
- Team-oriented approach
- Sharp problem-solving ability
- Passion for continuous learning
What the job involves
- We are building Fornax, the industry's most sophisticated AI-powered platform to migrate data from old legacy systems into Lupa. Think Palantir's Foundry but hyper-specialised to our sector
- This will be THE key driver to helps sustain Lupa's current exponential growth, and you will be the key person behind it, reporting directly to the CTO
