Who you are
- Initial professional experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in FinTech, InsureTech, debt collection, or LegalTech
- The ability to drive revenue growth and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment
- Technical affinity, enabling you to explain our technology-based service to leads and potential clients
- An existing network in B2C-focused industries, which you can leverage to open doors and accelerate pipeline is a plus
- Very good MS Office skills and enjoyment of working with new technologies such as AI
- Very good written and spoken Spanish as well as English skills are required, Portuguese or German skills are a plus
What the job involves
- We are looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager (f/m/d) for the Spanish & Portuguese market to join our Business Development team
- Identification, acquisition, and development of potential B2B clients with the aim of establishing long-term and solid business relationships with focus on the Spanish and Portuguese market
- Taking on projects in the area of sales/business development
- You will be the point of contact for our new clients, thereby actively contributing to the success of the team
- Conducting market and trend analyses and providing proactive support in the further development of the business model and business development
- Preparing pitches and presentations
- Representing PAIR Finance at trade fairs, exhibitions, and other events
Our take
Flexible payment options are essential for reaching as many customers as possible, but methods such as "buy-now-pay-later" often lead to payments never being made. In this event, businesses generally resort to debt collection agencies, but this can come across as intimidating, damage customer relationships, and prevent overdue customers from returning.
PAIR Finance leverages artificial intelligence to analyze customer interactions and behavioral data during the debt collection process in order to identify how to make customers more open to payment of their debts. The company also provides industry-specific services for credit scoring, portfolio purchasing, and customer retention, custom-designed for E-Commerce, Banking, Energy Providers, and other industries.
Debt collection is a process that has remained stagnant for decades and has not been innovated upon past simple developments such as digital payment plans. PAIR Finance has therefore found a unique niche in the market by investigating what makes customers avoid paying their debts, how to make them more open to doing so, and using machine learning to develop frictionless debt collection strategies.
