What the job involves
- Mercury is building financial products to help startups and small businesses scale. Turns out this requires a lot of talented people, so we’re looking to add a Senior GTM Sourcer to our team
- As a sourcing partner to our business recruiting team, you’ll take ownership of the candidate pipeline for a big part of the company and have a lot of impact
- Develop a deep understanding of Mercury’s values, brand, and product
- Work closely with hiring managers and interviewers across the business to help build high-performing, diverse teams
- Make a friendly first impression on candidates and (no pressure) act as the living embodiment of our cultural values
- Manage the top funnel of the recruiting pipeline from initial outreach to their first interviews, with an emphasis on engaging passive candidates
- Screen candidates with a keen eye for alignment with our open roles and Mercury values
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Experiment with creative ways of sourcing and analyze their effectiveness
- Actively think of ways to improve and scale sourcing processes
- Stay informed about industry trends, and act as a subject matter expert for the wider team
