What the job involves
- The Director of Strategic Partnerships – Digital Signage is responsible for building and leading Poppulo’s partner ecosystem to accelerate the growth of our digital signage business
- This role will identify, develop, and scale relationships with strategic partners — including AV/IT integrators, resellers, and global solution providers — who will advocate for and sell Poppulo’s solutions into their customer base
- Success in this role requires strong partner management expertise, deep understanding of the AV/IT and SaaS market, and the ability to design programs that create mutual value for Poppulo and its partners
- The Director will set strategy, build a high-performing team, and collaborate across sales, marketing, product, and customer success to maximize partner-driven revenue
- The position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer and will play a key role in driving global go-to-market success for Poppulo’s digital signage solutions
- Develop and implement Poppulo’s digital signage partner strategy, focusing on recruitment, onboarding, and growth of high-value partners
- Establish a scalable partner program including tiering, incentives, and enablement frameworks to drive growth through resellers, integrators, and alliances
- Own partner-related revenue targets, ensuring measurable contribution to overall ARR growth. Partner with sales leadership to align channel and direct sales strategies
- Design and deliver partner enablement programs, toolkits, and sales training to ensure partners effectively position and sell Poppulo solutions
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to launch joint GTM campaigns, drive pipeline generation, and execute co-selling motions with partners
- Drive innovation through strategic alliance by leveraging Partnerships to accelerate adoption of Poppulo’s AI-Powered and Cloud based signage solutions
- Represent Poppulo at industry and partner events, building market visibility and thought leadership
- Work closely with Product, Customer Success, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment between partner initiatives and overall company objectives
- Build and lead a high-performing team focused on partner management and ecosystem development
- Demonstrate strong business acumen with a deep understanding of digital signage, SaaS, and AV/IT partner dynamics
- Translate vision into action through structured planning, clear goals, and measurable outcomes
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer success
- Model Poppulo’s values and inspire confidence among partners, employees, and executive stakeholders
- Operate with a global mindset, building partnerships that scale across diverse geographies
Our take
Poppulo delivers the world’s first communications experience platform, Poppulo Harmony, that unites multiple communications channels in one content creation and publishing experience. Through the Harmony platform, businesses can improve both internal and external communications, improving employee engagement and the customer experience.
Poppulo was first launched as an email marketing solution, but it underwent a dramatic rebranding in order to focus on internal communications. This move proved successful, with the company going on to serve thousands of businesses including Santander, Rolls-Royce and Asos. In 2021, a merger with Four Winds saw Poppulo valued at around $1 billion, establishing it as a major player in the communications market.
It was in 2022 that Poppulo released the Harmony platform, adding customer communication capabilities to its employee engagement toolkit, and becoming a one-stop-shop for all its clients' communication needs. Having already secured a significant foothold, the company has been focused on furthering its international expansion while building out its executive team. A round of layoffs in 2023 is certainly not good news, but it does appear to be a result of the wider economic situation rather than anything else.
