Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Proven experience (10+ years) in a demand generation leadership role within the financial services industry
- Proven, hands-on experience with ABM programs and tools (e.g. DemandBase, 6Sense)
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies that drive revenue growth
- Ability to move quickly and adjust plans to meet the demands of the Commercial team and fast-paced credit markets
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make strategic recommendations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
What the job involves
- The Vice President of Growth Marketing will be a key executive in our marketing team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive demand generation strategies
- This role requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in creating and implementing successful programs, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving measurable results
- The ideal candidate will bring a deep passion for using innovation to drive campaigns (MarTech / AI), and have a maniacal focus on outcomes and results
- With a special focus on Account Based Marketing, the VP of Growth Marketing will need to be adept at segmentation, working closely with the Commercial Team (Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Success) to create and execute distinct campaigns and programs targeted at our installed base for cross-sell as well as net new logos
- The role reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and is a member of the Marketing Leadership Team. The VP of Growth Marketing will manage a team that supports all three regions: NA, EMEA, and APAC, with the most focus on NA followed by EMEA
- Demand Generation Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive demand generation strategy aligned with overall business objectives, incorporating inbound and outbound marketing tactics (emails, webinars), content marketing, executing hosted and third-party events (i.e. trade shows / association events), Account Based Marketing, and digital campaigns (e.g. email, Google Ads, LinkedIn). (Side note – Reorg sends over 100 emails to our subscribers per day, so how do marketing messages break through and stand out? A fun challenge!)
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing demand generation team, fostering a culture of results, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic guidance, set clear objectives, and monitor performance against key metrics
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Commercial organization (sales and customer success) as well as our Product teams to align demand generation efforts with sales objectives and overall business goals. Establish strong communication channels to ensure seamless coordination and feedback loops
- Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels to generate high-quality leads and accelerate the sales pipeline. Utilize data-driven insights to refine and optimize campaigns for maximum impact. A passion for technology and experimentation (i.e. A|B testing, use of MarTech, AI enabled tools)
- Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and ROI of demand generation initiatives. Regularly analyze and report on campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
