Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications
- Deep understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and proficiency with React Native framework
- Hands-on experience in blockchain or web3 applications, familiar with EVM and contract interaction details
- Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSockets
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Desirable
- 4+ years of full-time engineering experience within a large technology organization or fast growing startup
- Experience with web application development including familiarity with ReactJS & Next.js
- Familiarity with native mobile app development (iOS/Android)
What the job involves
- Our team is focused on creating secure, user-friendly, and innovative solutions in the self-custody wallet space. As we expand, we are looking for a crypto native Software Engineer to join our full stack engineering team
- In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our codebases across both React Native and Node
- Your expertise in building scalable and high-performance applications will directly contribute to the success of our platform as you direct a team of full stack engineers
- You will stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends, conduct thorough research and evaluation to ensure that the system remains at the forefront of the industry
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Backend Engineering, to ensure seamless integration of new features and improvements
- Contribute to the architecture and design of our mobile applications
- Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the codebase
- Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and documentation
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive
- Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality
