Role
Who you are
- You have gained a university degree in the field of Business Administration, Economics, IT or in a similar discipline
- You have 3+ years of proven work experience within Sales or in a similar role, preferably in the SaaS industry
- You have proven experience in running the full sales cycle, with main focus on closing deals
- You are persistent, creative and reliable - you bring the motivation required to drive multiple experiments to understand and connect with our target customers
- You are a self-motivated and proactive team player with innovative ideas to convince prospects, eager for pro-active pipeline management while keeping your deals up to date
- Your experience in using CRM software (e.g. Salesforce or Hubspot) is a plus
- You have outstanding oral and written ability in English
- Experience selling to Procurement, Finance or IT personas previously is a plus
- You are comfortable working remotely (we don't have an office)
What the job involves
- Being the driver of building new business relationships, you will proactively research the UKI market, understand different players in the territory and find creative approaches to explore new opportunities
- Gathering insights about industry dynamics and trends, building up your own network and helping create, adapt and distribute relevant content into these areas
- Representing Sastrify's product and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding of the product and its benefits, and leading to consumer research to identify how our product meets their needs and expectations
- Managing and maintaining a pipeline of interested prospects, preparing the leads with fundamental knowledge and engaging them with our sales executives
- Using networking tools such as LinkedIn to research accounts, identifying key contacts and building targeted messaging
- You'll be working with Ciara Duffy, our Regional Sales Manager EMEA North
Our take
Sastrify’s highly automated platform helps companies, mainly small to medium-sized, optimise their SaaS procurement and spending. It’s a smart model as the SaaS industry continues to boom, meaning companies are often at risk of overspending on superfluous tools.
Though only launched in 2020 by a pair of former mobility industry entrepreneurs, Sastrify has shown remarkable growth, already being used by unicorn startups such as Gorillas and sennder.
Through proper investment and strategic partnerships (with companies such as Capchase), Sastrify is aiming to accelerate sales and product development in Europe, the US, and beyond. 2023 funding will help it meet the growing demand for its services by scaling its teams in the US and Europe and further developing its product.
