Senior IT-Internal Auditor, Upvest

• Multiple years of experience in internal audit functions or in an audit firm
• A background in IT or a related academic field is preferred, but we are open to candidates with strong practical experience and a deep understanding of IT systems
• Familiarity with key regulations such as MaRisk, DORA, ISO 27001, KRITIS
• Passion about the future of fintech and desire to drive it from a front-row seat
• English and German fluency (both written and spoken)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment
• Ability to work from Germany (being based in Berlin is not required, though a plus)

• Prepare and present quarterly and annual reports on audit results and findings to management
• Oversee and manage outsourced audit support, ensuring audits remain aligned with company goals and standards
• Introduce innovative solutions that enhance audit efficiency and improve audit frameworks in a rapidly changing fintech industry
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including external auditors and regulatory bodies, to ensure full compliance and risk mitigation
• Provide independent audit support for strategic initiatives, like New Product introductions (NPPs), while maintaining objectivity
