Role
Who you are
- Proven experience in public relations, media relations, or communications in a B2B financial services or technology company (or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to manage executive messaging and visibility
- Strong strategic thinking, with the capacity to operate in fast-moving, multifaceted environments
- Hands-on execution experience: writing press releases, messaging documents, social content, email campaigns
- Experience working with agency partners for PR, events, or content is a plus
- Familiarity with website content management and corporate collateral development
- Proven track record in communications around product launches, partnership announcements, or public-company events
- Excellent writing and editing skills; comfort working cross-functionally with leadership and external stakeholders
- Project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously
What the job involves
- As Head of Public Relations, you will own and execute Pagaya’s external communication strategy, encompassing PR, executive visibility, event sponsorship, social media, and B2B communications
- Reporting to senior leadership, you’ll translate Pagaya’s core value proposition into compelling messaging for investors, partners, media, and the public
- You will also drive our email marketing efforts and lead critical communications initiatives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications & PR strategy, aligned with company goals
- Lead executive visibility programs, positioning senior leadership as thought leaders through media, events, and digital platforms
- Oversee partner communications, crafting messaging, creating assets, and aligning with partner priorities
- Design and implement an event and speaking strategy, identifying opportunities, managing logistics, and supporting executive participation
- Own and manage Pagaya’s corporate social media presence, as well as social strategies for select executive accounts
- Lead crisis communications, developing key messages, coordinating cross-functional responses, and ensuring appropriate channels are used
- Collaborate with internal communications, legal, compliance, and the Tel Aviv team to ensure aligned messaging across the organization
- Analyze market, competitive, and industry trends to inform and evolve the communications strategy
- Provide project management and execution support for high-impact marketing communications campaigns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-org leadership to integrate communication efforts across functions
- Ensure all communications comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements

The traditional consumer lending system is widely regarded as inefficient and can limit a lender’s ability to evaluate credit applications. Pagaya Investments is disrupting this system: its platform uses comprehensive learning insights to offer better assessments and more accurate credit evaluations. This allows its customers to rapidly scale their services while reducing the risk of defaults or fraud.
Since its launch, the company has grown significantly, managing billions in assets for a diverse range of clients, including banks, insurance companies, pension funds, asset managers, and private health funds. Major enterprises like Visa, Avant, and SofdFi utilize Pagaya's AI evaluation to extend credit to underserved customers, achieving levels of speed and accuracy that traditional methods cannot match.
Pagaya has continued to enter new markets each year, having begun with personal loans and then expanding into auto loans and real estate. This is demonstrative of the company's ability to scale across markets, and it is now focused on increasing the adoption of its technology by large banks and auto lenders.
