Who you are
- 1+ year of SDR/BDR experience. You have worked in a similar role in software and understand the core responsibilities of generating leads for sales
- Strong communicator. You communicate clearly over email and by phone. You are able to write effectively over email, and can think on your feet over the phone to manage unexpected questions with ease
- Growth mindset. In a startup, some of our business goals exist 3 months in the future rather than 3 years. You are someone who thrives in a quickly-changing environment, has the ability to hyperfocus and can quickly pivot when needed. You are not afraid to speak up and change processes
- Resilient and results-oriented. You have grit and your eyes on the goal. You do not let objections and rejections get in your way of achieving what you’ve set out to accomplish. You find ways to keep yourself motivated and optimistic, regardless of any roadblocks that come your way

What the job involves
- We are on an exciting journey to unlock productivity with our GoLinks Suite
- As part of this product growth, we have opportunities for Sr. Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who will partner with our Account Executives (AEs) to source and close enterprise-sized SaaS business opportunities
- You will be responsible for owning the early stages of the sales process
- This will require selling the value of our solution to top prospects by addressing their needs and demonstrating the benefits of GoLinks
- Collaborate with AEs to qualify and pursue cold (and warm) opportunities and develop a strong demo pipeline using a variety of outbound methods
- Identify top prospects and leads through diligent market research and sharing market feedback with the team
- Focus on strategic efforts, research, and personalization to identify sales indicators
- Provide exceptional experience to prospects during the sales process
- Track, analyze, and refine ways to improve campaigns and the sales process
- Represent GoLinks at events and conferences to network and establish leads
Our take
These days, collaboration in the workplace is key to efficient company processes, with sharing links being an important part of workflows. However, lengthy, unreadable URLs are difficult to scan-search and take up space in applications. GoLinks transforms large URLs into human-readable go links that are more easily managed in emails and chats, whilst still working directly in browsers.
Traditionally, links have been shared in the form of URLs, with titles sometimes attached to identify the destination. The quickest way to access much-used links has been to bookmark them, but staff can quickly rack up files upon files of bookmarks which become as slow to search through as the original place the links were posted. By making links much shorter, and into plain words, GoLinks makes it possible for staff to simply recall them, granting quick access without skimming documents or bookmarks. GoLinks is not the only link-shortening product available, with an array of alternatives – some of which can be easier to employ – but the company stands out as delivering a quicker return on investment and being overall more affordable.
GoLinks has been repeatedly recognized in G2 Reports as a leading software in its category. Funds raised by the company have been cited to go towards investing in the product, distribution, and hiring.
