Who you are

Strong proficiency in Power BI, creating and maintaining reports and semantic models
Strong SQL skills
Advanced analytical software experience, including advanced understanding of Excel formulas and charts, PowerQuery, and SQL Server Management Studio
Strong attention to detail with a good level of mathematical knowledge
Experience of working in business analysis, data analysis or a related field
Direct commercial knowledge of any of the following Lending Portfolios: Home Improvement Lending, Motor Finance Lending, 1st or 2nd Charge Mortgages Personal Loans
Ability to create, adapt and present new insights and views based on own understanding and feedback from stakeholders

Desirable

Understanding of Tandem’s Data Warehouse structure
STEM, Finance or Economics related qualifications – A level or higher
Other software programming languages
Experience working with TimeScaleDB
Experience working with DBT

What the job involves

Support the Consumer Duty team in analysing customer journeys across various products
Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports to provide insightful data visualization
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and challenges
Present and distribute data-driven insights to colleagues across different business areas
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and integrate missing data where necessary
