Role
Who you are
- 8+ years of experience in cloud-native software engineering, architecture, or solutions engineering
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Go, or JavaScript, with experience in automation frameworks
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools and their application in automating tasks and improving workflows
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable, cloud-native architectures that drive efficiency
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a track record of working across engineering, product, and business teams
- Expertise in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), and security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi), and monitoring/logging tools
- Understanding of AI-assisted engineering, including code generation tools, automation platforms, and ML-powered decision-making

What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Staff Solution Architect to join our Continuous Improvement team within the Partner Success & Services organization
- This role is all about bringing cloud-native engineering expertise to enhance how we deliver services and support our partners. You will help drive technical excellence by developing automation, streamlining workflows, and leveraging AI tools to scale our impact
- You’ll play a crucial role in embedding modern engineering practices into the organization, ensuring our partners and internal teams benefit from cutting-edge technology
- You’ll collaborate across Sales, Support, Technical Success, and Partner & Channel teams to implement technical solutions that drive efficiency, improve automation, and accelerate a culture of continuous improvement in everything we do
- Apply cloud-native engineering best practices to enhance service delivery and partner enablement
- Develop and maintain AI-driven automation tools to streamline workflows and content generation
- Design and implement technical frameworks that drive efficiency and scalability
- Inspire out-of-the-box thinking and innovation by educating colleagues on the capabilities of generative AI
- Design and deploy automated systems to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and democratize access to knowledge
- Leverage AI and ML tools to accelerate content creation, partner enablement, and operational improvements
- Create reusable engineering patterns and frameworks to ensure scalability across the organization
- Build solutions that help partners and internal teams adopt cloud-native security best practices
- Implement technical feedback loops that capture insights from engineers, partners, and customers to drive innovation
- Develop and document best practices for AI-assisted development and automation
- Identify technical gaps in partner and customer engagements, proposing innovative solutions to improve outcomes
- Develop tools and frameworks to support iterative learning, faster decision-making, and service innovation
- Mentor and coach internal teams on modern software development, AI-assisted engineering, and DevOps methodologies
Our take
Originally founded in Israel – a hotbed for rapid growth cybersecurity companies of late – Wiz hit the headlines when it became the world’s fastest growing software company in Summer 2022. Incredibly, the company clocked up $180 million in annual recurring revenue in under two years since launching its first product, boasting major customers like Salesforce, Slack, BMW, and Asos.
It’s impressive enough that the startup was able to attract hundreds of millions in investment so early in its lifespan, but the fact that it was co-founded by a team of former Microsoft executives no doubt helped on this front. However, to generate this kind of revenue so soon is extremely rare.
The company has fueled its growth with aggressive hiring and product expansion, adding modules for Container and Kubernetes security, DSPM, and CDR - enabling organizations to further consolidate their cloud security program into a single, fully comprehensive platform.
Following its early 2023 Series D funding round, the company has reached a $10 billion valuation, officially making it the world's largest cybersecurity unicorn and it is the fastest SaaS company to achieve such a valuation.
